Crystalled Roses's past layouts
It took me 4 years for me to finally decide to change the previous and WAY-outdated layout of the website. At the same time, I concluded that I'll have to revamp the whole site; throw away unnecessary sections and all those broken links. Design-wise, it's the first version to have a dynamic header and footer includes which are 80% controlled by a CSS stylesheet. And I've also used PHP scripts for certain sections of the site; which is a sigh of relief since I don't need to manage them manually now. |

This is by far the longest layout I've used for this website. The main reason is either because of my laziness or time constraint. Anyway, I used my own created photo manip of Rupert and Emma. Yellow/Lime Green/White is still my preferred colour combination for this layout. Like the previous versions, I used loads of slicing in Photoshop to integrate the iFrames of the template. I used a couple of Javascripts and CSS for this one. I'd also decided to add a current clock in Singapore's time zone for a change. |

This one is simply a modification from the original 8.0 version. The only changes were that I'd darkened the blueish background a bit and of course, the header blend; since I was unsatisfied with the previous one. As usual, I used some brushes, though I thought I went over-hyperactive with them. Hence the blend was pretty untidy with the brushes scattered here and there. |

I love this template the most because of the colour combination. Though I found out it didn't come out right in some monitors. It's supposed to be very blueish, whereas some monitors made it looked greyish. I got unsatisfied with the header though. As usual, I used some brushes, though this time not as much as I do usually. It got a 'star' brushes theme, where I blot it in certain spots. |

This version was one of the major changes for Crystalled Roses. Before this, as you can see, the layouts are always the same. But after I got inspired by some LiveJournal websites, I tried making my own website like them. Though I like the resultant layout, I didn't like the overall design. Because you can obviously see that I lazily just poured in like all the brushes I have on my hard drive onto it. And more so, green wasn't really my colour. Till date, I still wonder why the whole layout ended up green... |

It was plainly my laziest and messiest layout I've ever done in my whole life! It was SO out of proportion! Just look at it! Anyway, by the time the whole thing was done, I was too weary to make any more changes, so I left it like as it was. It was supposed to be Ron and Hermione looking up at the thousands of floating candles. Though thanks to my messy work, I don't think you guys could even figure them as candles! I used quite a whole lot of brushes for this - just kind of plastered them all over where necessary. Took me quite a while since I was unsatisfied a whole lot of time, until of course... I gave up. |

I must admit that this is one of my favourite layouts. It looks simple, not too fancy, and yet trendy. I took me about 45 minutes to design the layout. Just add some swirls and all to add some deco. I got quite a number of positive feedbacks for this design from my friends. *chuckles* |

This marked the first time my personal homepage acquiring its own domain. This whole baby-blue design was totally out of my initial plan. The layout I had in my mind was a more colourful one. But since I couldn't get the correct and exact images I needed, I had to change everything and this whole template was the resultant. But.. oh well! At least I think I finally came out with a decent layout than my previous one which was totally ridiculous! |

I really, really hated the design. I don't know what made me do this. Cheh! It was not only troublesome using those bloody frames, but took me a whole lot of time too. If only I knew about the 'iFrames' those days, I could have done better things than straining my eyes doing the adjusting. I used a couple of roll-over buttons for all the navigation. I was actually inspired by one of my subjects in school, 'User Interface Design', therefore I followed the style of the websites my professor taught us. I ended up making a shit, with horrible colour combinations. |
