The rumors that master director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the brilliant Hrithik Roshan will be working together have been growing for months. If that was not enough to get fans in in a tizzy, now the buzz is that his co-star in a romantic story will be none other than the beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Not much is known about the project but a source told Mid-day, "Hrithik has signed on the dotted line and even allotted his dates for the shooting, which starts in the second week of July. Aishwarya has heard the script and has liked her part but because she is away shooting for Mani Ratnam's next, she has not been signed on officially. She has confirmed her dates for the movie, though.”

None of this has been confirmed by Bhansali or Hrithik as of yet. Only thing that is confirmed is that according to Aishwarya’s manager Hari Singh she and the director have had several meetings.

We will all have to wait and watch to see if these rumors are indeed true and that the exciting team of Bhansali, Hrithik and Aishwarya will come together for the film! BollySpice will be sure to report as soon as it is confirmed or denied so keep checking back everyday!

I'm afraid to say that there's not much update this time. I'm just in the midst of listing out the website to certain directories and such.. Although, I think for old time's sake, I'll just add this old but still sexy looking Arjun/Aishwarya Filmfare photoshoot from a few years back, eh?

Well, I'm sure by now... all those of you 'Jodhaa Akbar' fans must have already got your hands on the long awaited DVD which got released recently on the 21st August. Although, if you asked me, I was rather disappointed with the DVD, beside it being non-anamorphic as otherwise stated on the cover. The only good thing about the special feature disc was the deleted scenes. Aside from that, there were no behind-the-scene stuff or bloopers of such. What a waste of waiting time. *snorts*

But anyways, I realised there was another quote by Hrithik Roshan on his views on Aishwarya that I realised weren't included in the Quotes section. It's of the 'Vogue Man' May 2008 issue of their magazine.

Hrithik on Ash: (2008 May) Aishwarya and I work very well together. We understand each other as actors a lot more now since we've had two films back to back [Dhoom:2 and Jodhaa Akbar]. Her most distinguishing feature as an actress is that she's completely selfless. It's easy to imagine that she'd be completely besotted by her own looks and obsessed with her close-ups and not concerned with the big picture. On the contrary, Aishwarya gives so much to every frame; as an actor, she instills the atmosphere with a sense of teamwork. She makes it very comfortable. I believe in the same approach, so I'm relieved to work with others who share that.

You watched the 3 hours plus Jodhaa Akbar at theaters a few weeks. Now get set to watch what you missed out in theaters, as UTV gets ready to unveil the deleted scenes from the film.

Yes, everywhere except Rajasthan, India. Ironic though if you ask me since the movie was filmed there. Anyways, reviews have all been good so far, not counting the renown biased, Khalid Mohamed's one.

A few may have considered this movie as a prelude to the evergreen classic, Mughal-e-Azam. Though as far as I am concerned, I caught up with the movie to enjoy it in its own sense and enjoy the sparkling chemistry Aishwarya and Hrithik kindled.

Finally, another treat for Hrithik/Ash fans. Rajeev Masand from CNN-IBN interviewed the cast of Jodhaa Akbar - actors Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and director Ashutosh Gowarikar.

Although I have to confess my irritation of the distance the two lead actors were in. I mean, why must they sit so far apart in the first place? Curse of the 3-seat sofas!! Well aside from that, the interview was rocking. We get to see a section of what I've always dreamed of - Ash and Hrithik quizzing each other live on TV. Haha!
