It's been TWO YEARS since I last updated this website. Terribly sorry! I will attempt to update the site from now on with Hrithik/Ash or Arjun/Ash related news.

To catch up... well, Arjun/Aishwarya shippers would know that had Madhur Bhandarkar did not injustice-ly thrown Aishwarya away from his Heroine due to her pregnancy, we could have finally got the opportunity of seeing Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya together in a movie after 8 years. But well, Aishwarya's role has been given to Kareena Kapoor.

And as for Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya, well they did Sanjay Bhansali's Guzaarish together in November 2010 -- a brilliant and heartfelt film which won them many accolades.

For now, here's wishing Aishwarya with good health and good luck with the baby. Hopefully she'll continue to make more films with her friends, Arjun and Hrithik in the years to come.

Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s first pairing up together happened with Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 2 and their sizzling chemistry rocked the box-office. Ashutosh Gowariker’s mega epic Jodhaa Akbar saw them coming back together and taking their chemistry a step further. Now they are back together for the third time with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish and if our unit sources are to be trusted then these Bollywood’s hottest on screen pair displayed amazing rapport when they got shooting together again.

Though Guzaarish went on floors from July 31st, Ash just recently joined them after coming back from Mani Ratnam’s Ravana shoot. Our unit sources reveal, “There was instant chemistry between the two as they caught up with each other after a long time. From their first shot together, they were right on cue.”

It is learnt that all their shots, which were rather intense, were canned in the first take itself, much to the delight of the director. And as soon as a dramatic scene would be wrapped up, the two would be cracking up about something they said to each other. “It’s their personal rapport that makes their acting seem so effortless on screen,” our source added.

Apparently Ash had also brought homemade food for the entire unit and was instrumental in making the sets cosy for everyone.

Hrithik has been concentrating on his home production, Kites, which has left him with little time to prepare for the role of a paraplegic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish. The actor may be moving around on a wheelchair at home, but the role requires more work than that, for which time is in short supply. Bhansali’s solution is simple: bring Goa to Mumbai. He has decided to recreate Goa in a studio in Mumbai for the first major schedule, giving Hrithik some breathing room.

Confirming the news, Sanjay said, “It’s not just Hrithik whose role requires tremendous preparation. Aishwarya’s part too is far from a slip-in slip-out character. Both are very busy actors. But they’re also quick on the uptake. And once they are back, they’ll be able to give themselves completely to the project.”

In recent weeks, Sanjay has been meeting paraplegics all over the country and they’ve also been invited to Mumbai to meet the director. Commenting on the meeting, the director said emotionally, “It has been a life-changing experience. It is so inspiring to meet these people. Many of them haven’t moved from their wheelchairs and beds all their lives. And yet they’re so free-spirited and their zest for life is amazing.”

“I want Guzaarish to be inspirational and not some depressing and defeatist story of physical disability. And I want my lead actors to be as inspired as I am. I know Hrithik and Aishwarya can bring the spirit of ebullience into the story. I know they’ll get the point as soon as they join me,” said Sanjay.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to start his latest magnum opus, Guzaarish. Come 20 July, the director will start shooting with his lead pair, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Mumbai's Mehboob Studio, where a big set will be put up.

Adding to the details, his associate from the movie, said, "Bulk dates of the two actors have been taken. For the next four months, the film will be shot in Mumbai and two other outdoor locations, which we cannot disclose. Hrithik will start shooting with us from 22 July."

Guzarish is a love story and will be Bhansali's fifth film. Like all his other films, Bhansali prefers shooting at a studio. Bhansali says, "I like to construct sets and then light it up. It is a part of my story telling. My story needs a setting and I like to create that ambience."

Hrithik has taken a long break from his film shooting. Apart from a commercial shoot in the first week of July, the actor will be confined to the edit studios where the post production of his film, Kites is being done. Likewise, the female lead of the film, Aishwarya also took a break recently. Prior to that, she was busy finishing the talkie portion of Vipul Shah's Action Replay in Karjat, where she stars opposite Akshay Kumar.

It is a casting coup for Bhansali to get the duo together after all the brouhaha about their famous kissing scene in Sanjay Gadvi's Dhoom 2. However, both said that the script and working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali was too great an opportunity for them to miss. And not to forget the magic they created for Ashutosh Gowarikar's Jodhaa Akbar, which has won the film over 50 awards till date.

The success and the resultant adulation after Rock On!! have gone to Arjun Rampal's head. When Arjun asked Vipul Shah to double his price for the already signed Action Replay, it led to his ouster from the film. He has now been replaced by Roadies host and MTV VJ Ranvijay.

A source close to the production house said, "Ever since Arjun won awards for his performance in Rock On!!, he feels that the money that Vipul was paying him for Action Replay was not justified. He demanded almost double of the earlier amount and refused to work for the earlier sum. Vipul was completely taken aback with Arjun's demand as the producer-director had worked with Arjun in Aankhen (2002), when he was yet to make his mark. Also, after a long wait, the two friends had got together for this film. Feeling betrayed by Arjun's high-handed behaviour, he replaced him with Ranvijay. The shooting began yesterday at ND Studios."

Arjun Rampal confirmed that he is no longer doing Action Replay and said, "Yes it is true that I am not doing Vipul's film but it is not because of the money factor. There are some other issues which are best left between Vipul and me." When we checked with Vipul Shah, he maintained a diplomatic stand and said, "Arjun and I are friends. His dates were clashing with Rajneeti, so we mutually decided not to work on this film. Ranvijay is doing the role now." The film also stars Randhir Kapoor with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, who have been paired opposite each other after Khakee (2004).

This may be old news to most of you Bollywood fans who'd watched the earlier 'Star Screen Awards' and 'Filmfare Awards' this year, but I'd just like to point out the sweet moments our beloved stars shared with each other in these events. Be it Hrithik Roshan who instinctively got up from his seat to hug Ash after she won the 'Star Screen Popular Actress' award or Arjun Rampal who got hugged by Ash after winning the 'Filmfare Best Supporting Actor' award.

Producer-director Vipul Shah whose had four hits to his credit is now on a new high. the producer director has started working on his next venture titled 'Flash Forward' with Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal in the lead.

The director is on the look out for a young actor. He is now on the look out for a young actor. Vipul has a penchant to shoot his films on outdoor locales especially Punjab. But Unlike all other films this film will be shot in N.D. Studios with a start to finish scehdule.

The film is based on a play titled 'Action Reply'. The film is being produced in association with Akshay Kumar’s banner Hari Om Production. Meanwhile the producer-director is going on in full swing with his forthcoming venture London Dreams at Chandigarh.

The director is busy wrapping up the shoot with Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin in the lead and has planned to release the film on August 14. Incidentally Vipul Shah’s last release 'Singh Is Kinng' starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was the biggest box office success. Vipul believes that the August month is favourable to him, especially the independence day. Hence he has set the date in advance for his on August 14.

Hrithik Roshan has become quite choosy of late and this is quite apparent by the fact that the only film Hrithik has signed after his home production Kites is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next. Hrithik confirmed this and said, “Sanjay Bhansali’s film is the only film that I’ve accepted after Kites. I just jumped at it. We’re both very passionate film persons.Though there’s one other script that I’m looking at, nothing touched my soul except Bhansali’s script.”

“I believe he’s passionate and his passion is evident in his films. I thought Devdas and Saawariya were spectacular. I’m no one to judge, but I thought Saawariya was wrongly marketed.Otherwise it was as passionate as his earlier films,” raved Hrithik about Bhansali.

Hrithik is also pretty excited about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being his co-star in the film. After all they shared a very special chemistry in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa-Akbar. “The pairing with Aishwarya will be as special as the film that will project it. It’s always about how committed and passionate the script allows us to be. Given Sanjay’s calibre I don’t see why we won’t be able to recreate the same chemistry again. The project is definitely going into a different territory, in more ways than one,” he said, hinting at a unique shooting location.

(We hear that Sanjay is revisiting Goa for this film, a huge departure from his other set-bound films.)

The film will require a great deal of emotional wrenching from Hrithik. “I feel all the physical pain and turmoil that I’ve gone through in the recent past will add to my experiences as an actor. The more turmoil I go through the better I am as an actor. My work is about creativity and not about the business side of it. I know Sanjay’s film will offer me optimum emotional sustenance,” he signed off.

What is next on cards?
Aishwarya: I am working on Robot and Mani Ratnam’s film. I have accepted Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vipul Shah’s film. I am excited.

The rumors that master director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the brilliant Hrithik Roshan will be working together have been growing for months. If that was not enough to get fans in in a tizzy, now the buzz is that his co-star in a romantic story will be none other than the beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Not much is known about the project but a source told Mid-day, "Hrithik has signed on the dotted line and even allotted his dates for the shooting, which starts in the second week of July. Aishwarya has heard the script and has liked her part but because she is away shooting for Mani Ratnam's next, she has not been signed on officially. She has confirmed her dates for the movie, though.”

None of this has been confirmed by Bhansali or Hrithik as of yet. Only thing that is confirmed is that according to Aishwarya’s manager Hari Singh she and the director have had several meetings.
